Build Rite Construction wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technology.
The standard we build to
We design and test this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines are the widely recognized benchmark for making web content usable for people with a broad range of disabilities.
What we do to keep it accessible
- Every page is checked by automated accessibility tests before it is published.
- The site can be operated with a keyboard alone, and content works with screen readers.
- Text meets color contrast targets, and the page can be zoomed and still be readable.
- Images that carry meaning have text descriptions.
- We review accessibility again after any major change to the site.
Known limitations
Accessibility is ongoing work, not a one-time task. Some content, such as downloadable documents, is still being reviewed and improved. If you find something that is hard to use, we want to hear about it so we can fix it.
